Torsion Field Mechanics

Definition: The fringe manipulation of mathematical models of spacetime curvature to claim the existence of non-electromagnetic, instantaneous communication fields generated by rotating masses. A speculative framework proposing that twisting or spinning fields – “torsion fields” – are fundamental to the structure of spacetime, consciousness, or both, and that they carry information faster than light or outside conventional physics.

The Masking Mechanism: The mask borrows the term “torsion” from differential geometry and general relativity, where it refers to a mathematical property of spacetime in certain theoretical frameworks. The mask works because torsion is a legitimate concept in physics, but it has never been detected or shown to carry the properties attributed to it in fringe theories. The word “mechanics” adds false scientific weight.

Gauge Theory Inversion – Heavily utilized in modern Russian fringe science, this concept claims that the spin of particles can be used to transmit information faster than light through “torsion fields”. It uses the legitimate Einstein-Cartan theory (which adds torsion to spacetime) to masquerade as an un-debunkable extension of Einstein’s relativity.

Genuine Parallel: Einstein-Cartan Theory and quantum spin angular momentum. Torsion appears in Einstein-Cartan theory, a legitimate extension of general relativity, but it is not associated with faster-than-light communication, consciousness, or practical manipulation.

Reference Box – Torsion Field Mechanics
Origin: Borrowed from Einstein–Cartan theory; repurposed in fringe science.
Scientific status: Torsion is legitimate in certain models, but not as described in this term.
Key critique: No empirical evidence for torsion fields as carriers of information or consciousness.
Genuine parallel: Legitimate theoretical physics: Einstein–Cartan theory, teleparallel gravity.
