(2009). “Boom Boom Pow” topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 12 weeks, making it the group’s 1st number-one single on the chart. It is the 2nd longest-running single to stay atop the chart in 2009, beaten only by their own “I Gotta Feeling”, which held the top spot for 14 consecutive weeks.

…I can’t “understand” WHY this song topped the U.S. Billboard for 12 weeks ! – yet Wikipedia says so, thus it has to be true, American music lovers sometimes are “weird” listeners, they can be totally unpredictable – I guess they couldn’t understand the song by listening just once, it was a “strange” song after all, it could be “hidden” something deeper, so they had to listen again and again, for weeks and months… at the end, nothing, all of what they “heard” was boom boom boom, nevertheless the chart got crazy : )<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n
