Aleksandri e pati themeluar nj\u00eb qytet duke e quajtur me emrin e vet dhe t\u00eb kalit s\u00eb bashku, di\u00e7 si Aleksandria Bukefalia.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Bertel Thorvaldsen (1770-1844) &#8211; <strong>Hyrja Triumfale e Aleksandrit t\u00eb Madh n\u00eb Babiloni<\/strong>, 1818-28<\/p>\n<p>Friza e mermert\u00eb e skulptorit danez t\u00eb Neoklasicizmit, Bertel Thorvaldsen, &#8220;Hyrja Triumfale e Aleksandrit t\u00eb Madh n\u00eb Babiloni&#8221; (versioni n\u00eb Vil\u00ebn Carlotta, Itali), konsiderohet nj\u00eb nga kryeveprat m\u00eb t\u00eb bukura t\u00eb skulptur\u00ebs evropiane t\u00eb shek. XIX.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00eb friz\u00ebn e Thorvaldsen e shohim kalin e famsh\u00ebm t\u00eb Aleksandrit, Bukefalin, dhe dy persona tek p\u00ebrpiqen ta qet\u00ebsojn\u00eb. Legjenda thot\u00eb se babai i Aleksandrit, Mbreti Filip i Maqedonis\u00eb, e kishte bler\u00eb nj\u00eb kal t\u00eb mrekulluesh\u00ebm por ishte e pamundur p\u00ebr ta zbutur, k\u00ebshtu q\u00eb mendonte t&#8217;ia kthente shit\u00ebsit. Aleksandri i ri, ende adoleshent, ishte i vetmi n\u00eb gjendje t\u00eb qet\u00ebsonte kafsh\u00ebn, duke kuptuar se shkaku i nervozizmit t\u00eb kalit ishte frika nga vet\u00eb hija e tij. Nj\u00eb dit\u00eb ia doli t&#8217;i hipte dhe kali do ishte i qet\u00eb. Q\u00eb nga ajo dit\u00eb, Bukefali dhe princi Aleksand\u00ebr do t&#8217;ishin t\u00eb pandash\u00ebm, gjithnj\u00eb s\u00eb bashku nd\u00ebr betejat, deri n\u00eb p\u00ebrplasjen e fundit t\u00eb ushtris\u00eb maqedonase kund\u00ebr mbretit Porus t\u00eb Indis\u00eb, n\u00eb v. 326 pes, n\u00eb nj\u00eb zon\u00eb diku mes Indis\u00eb dhe Pakistanit t\u00eb sot\u00ebm.<\/p>\n<p>P\u00ebr nder t\u00eb kalit t\u00eb vet, n\u00eb at\u00eb rajon Aleksandri e pati themeluar nj\u00eb qytet duke e quajtur me emrin e vet dhe t\u00eb kalit s\u00eb bashku, di\u00e7 si Aleksandria Bukefalia.<br \/>\nShkollar\u00ebt thon\u00eb se Aleksandri i themeloi rreth 20 qytete, por gjithashtu i riquajti shum\u00eb qytete t\u00eb tjera me emrin e vet (Aleksandria, her\u00eb duke ua v\u00ebn\u00eb emrave si parashtes\u00eb).
