Rihanna – Rude Boy (2009 – Video)
“Rude Boy” is a song by Barbadian singer Rihanna, taken from her 4th studio album, Rated R (2009). “Rude Boy” peaked at number 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 for five consecutive weeks and was Rihanna’s 6th US number-one single. The accompanying music video was directed by Melina Matsoukas, who also directed the video for Rihanna’s previous single, “Hard”. In one segment of the video Rihanna is shown wearing a skin tight black and white catsuit, with a black and white background. The scene draws influence from paintings by the 1980s pop culture artist Keith Haring. |
