Ars Poetica is simply a personal blog; the blogger, the maintainer, the webmaster, the programmer, the writer… all are the one & the same, sometimes “lazy, indolent” blogger : ) The materials appearing on Ars Poetica’s web site could include, or probably include typographical, technical, graphical, photographic errors. This blog was not intended to be an “academic resource”, but rather a personal electronic notebook. Ars Poetica does not warrant that any of the materials on its web site are 100% accurate, complete, or current. Ars Poetica may make changes to the materials contained on its web site at any time without notice. Ars Poetica does not, however, make any commitment to update the materials.

“Blogging is defined as publishing material to a site that you own and control – though blogging sometimes is conflated with writing for other websites or blogs” – explained Jane Friedman [ she is a pro-blogger (I think), she has spent 25+ years working in the publishing industry – https://janefriedman.com/about/ ]. “Authors have trouble staying focused and disciplined on one topic or subject matter, often because they get bored or they think readers will get bored. It’s hard to gain traction if you’re switching it up all the time and not consistent in what you offer“.

That’s very true, especially for Ars Poetica – yet this blog isn’t kept alive with the “goal” to achieve any kind of “success” nor blog-recognitions : ) rather it is kept as a simple personal “log”, as a notebook of thoughts and experiences.
