He had several international hits, including “Der Kommissar” (1981), “Rock Me Amadeus”, “Vienna Calling”, “Jeanny”, “The Sound of Musik”, “Coming Home (Jeanny Part II, One Year Later)”, and posthumously released “Out of the Dark”.
