…more or less, we all remember, maybe the younger generations don’t, but the rest of us remember the iconic photo used for the poster of “Top Gun” (the 1st photo, left), at that time I was very young, of course I admired them : ) myself too was an aviation cadet, though not for long, shortly before I had abandoned the military academy (I had to… the circumstances were such) – here some images (sourced via Getty) of the American actors Tom Cruise, as Lieutenant Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell, and Kelly McGillis, as Charlotte ‘Charlie’ Blackwood, in a promotional portrait for ‘Top Gun’, it was directed by Tony Scott, 1986.
