Crete, the largest Greek island, has the perfect climate for growing olives. The olive from used to produce Arxanes Irakliou Kritis extra virgin olive oil is the Koroneiki olive variety, which is believed to originate from this island.

The olives must be harvested and cleaned before processing in traditional or centrifugal olive mills in the municipality of Archanes in Irakilion prefecture. This method preserves all the important ingredients and vitamins, resultin in a final product with a high monosaturated oleic acid and polyphenol content.

The rich flavor and exquisite aroma of this oil makes the ideal addition to any salad, and can also be enjoyed drizzled over Greek cheese.
