His real name is Marcello Pacheco, is an American electronic music DJ and producer Trance, from Jersey City, New Jersey, USA He now lives in New York and sometimes plays under the pseudonym Badlands. DJ Eco has signed with the biggest labels of the world of trance music and progressive house (Flashover, Armada, Tone Diary (Spinnin') and Lunatic, to name a few), so that its characteristic mixes are now essential of the genre.

His tracks "Light At The End", "Tonight Is Forever", "American Blues", "Borealis", and "Lost Angeles" were programmed as "Tune Of The Week" on Armin Van Buuren's "A State Of Trance" radio show, which represents a prestigious distinction for a Trance DJ.
