Daniel Kandi

Daniel Kandi, born 1983, in Aalborg, Denmark, is a Danish trance producer and DJ known for his work since 2000, with notable tracks like "Breathe" and collaborations with artists such as Robert Nickson. He has been active in the trance music scene and continues to tour internationally, performing at various music festivals. He remains a prominent figure in the trance music scene.

Kandi started producing music under the alias DJ Mendoza. He was part of the Danish music community MyMusic, where he published his early works. In 2003, he formed a duo called Duval and Mundo, releasing their first single "Sorrow" in 2005.

His breakthrough came with the release of "Breathe" in 2006 on Anjunabeats. Kandi has collaborated with notable artists, including Robert Nickson, resulting in tracks like "Liberate" and "Rewire" in 2008. He gained recognition when Armin van Buuren selected his track "If It Ain’t Broke" as "Tune of the Week" in 2011.
