Dirkie Coetzee

Dirk Jacobus Coetzee, known as Dirkie Coetzee is a South African DJ and trance music producer who began his career at the age of 16. Coetzee learned music production through online articles and tutorials. He focused on trance music, which became his primary genre. Over the years, he developed his mixing skills and gained recognition by performing at various nightclubs, events, and radio stations across Southern Africa. He has gained recognition for his work in the EDM scene, producing tracks for well-known labels and collaborating with various artists, while also hosting his own radio show and event brand called "We Are Trance". Coetzee has toured internationally, performing in countries like Russia, Ibiza, and the Netherlands, further establishing his presence in the global trance music scene.

His music has been signed to prestigious labels such as Black Hole Recordings, Armada Music, Enhanced Music, Bonzai Music. He has collaborated with notable trance vocalists, including Emma Lock and Marcia Juell. Some of the most popular tracks produced by Dirkie Coetzee include "Epoch," "Hymn to Africa," "Apollo," "Arrakis," and "Aurora." His remix of "Fall For Me" and the track "Into Orbit" are also notable highlights.

Coetzee is the driving force behind the "Deeper Calling" project, which showcases his passion for trance music.
