Orgone Kinetics
Definition: The pseudo-scientific application of kinetic energy and thermodynamic equations to track the movement and accumulation of an unobservable cosmic life energy.
The Masking Mechanism: Thermodynamic Mimicry. The theory treats a hypothetical “life force” as a physical fluid or gas, utilizing standard equations of fluid dynamics and heat transfer to mask the fact that the underlying medium has never been detected.
Genuine Parallel: Fluid Dynamics and the Navier-Stokes equations, which mathematically describe how real liquids and gases move.
Etymology: Blend of Orgone (a term coined by Wilhelm Reich, blending orgasm and organism) and Kinetics (Greek kinésis: movement).
