Roberto Zanetti, born 1956 in Massa, Italy, is better known under his many pseudonyms, like Savage, Robyx and Walt 93. Zanetti took his first musical steps with the groups “Fathima E I Pronipoti”, “I Sangria” and “L’inchiesta”. With the group “Santarosa” he not only got his first professional experience, but also managed to record the single “Souvenir”. The producer of the single was Zucchero, a close friend of Zanetti. In 1983 he made his first solo recordings with the group TAXI. The compositions “To Miami” and “Kapsi Cum” were published by Zanetti himself under the pseudonym Stargo. After some time, Zanetti took the pseudonym Savage and recorded the song “Don’t Cry Tonight”. Thanks to the popularity of this song he began to be invited to various music shows. His debut album “Tonight” was released in 1984. After 6 years, Savage began actively producing and took the pseudonym Robyx. To record instrumental compositions in the dream house style, Zanetti took the pseudonym Walt 93. Since 2005, Roberto Zanetti has been actively touring around the world. His concerts still gather crowds of fans. |
