Shakira – “Objection (Tango)” (2001)
“Objection (Tango)” is a song by Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira for her 5th studio album and 1st English-language album Laundry Service (2001). It was the first song Shakira wrote in English after being encouraged by American singer Gloria Estefan. An accompanying music video for “Objection (Tango)” was directed by Dave Meyers and features Shakira fighting her unfaithful lover and his mistress in a club. A segment of the video is rendered in an animated cartoon-form. |
