…yesterday the UN (United Nations) discussed a resolution related to the “slave trade” (in the past), and the African nations demanded that the Europeans pay for the past, according to them Europe has terrible “historical” debts, and I am a little sad for the past of the peoples, for our history, concerning the Africans I can understand them quite easily…
…so, what the African nations are demanding is a good sign that, nevertheless, we are “civilizing”, we’re moving towards the perfectionism of historical civilizations, right – I am not using cynicism nor sarcasm, I never have any distrustful attitude towards human motives, never and ever, it’s true that we are animalistic creatures but I do not believe that people operate mainly out of self-interest (I simply cannot believe this, in any way, cause if so… then why am I not the same myself)…
…just as, the same again, I do not believe that “nations” operate mainly out of self-interest, otherwise we wouldn’t have the politics, the policies, the rules, the systems etc., my words never imply any mocking distrust regarding the sincerity, integrity of nations, otherwise we wouldn’t have the United Nations, right – even though, as a fresh example from our political history, we “reserve” the right to exterminate and starve an entire nation in Gaza, imagine… we starve 2 million people in the political “daylight” of the 21st century, we allow the “imposition of political ambitions” to take Greenland… or any island in the world… or to invade Ukraine, we impose a devastating war on a democratic nation of 40 million souls, or we sell 300-400 billion weapons to the Saudis… to the Gulf states, and call it “business”, or we force Europe to pay 5% for the “hungry arms industry” of 50 States, or or… myself I am just wondering why Europe doesn’t annex Britain, it’s an island, right, Europe has the right, just as someone can take Greenland, just as China can “encircle” Taiwan etc…
…or, as the whole world knows, the International Tribunal declares someone a “war criminal”, but the international community is “nobody”, internationals have no authority, they are no United Nations, even if they were we still can use “veto” but luckily they aren’t – so, on the one hand, we “declare someone a war criminal”, on the other hand we destroy, we starve 2 million people of Gaza doing “political business” with the same “war criminal”, or we bomb surrounding countries etc…
…at least, finally the UN is right, shame on us : ) we trade in slaves and we don’t pay our historical debts – now the UN has woken up, at least this, seriously a very good sign that we’re getting somewhere, better late than never : )
